I bought this recently and after i bought it noticed several reviews claiming that this item is too big , having to compress heatsink too hard , not allowing room to put the outter shield that is on the ps5 over the drive once installed.Let me tell you , every single one of those reviews you read are either people not understanding how to put it together or they done something wrong. I used this on a Samsung 980pro and i did NOT have to compress it hard to fit. I simply followed the instructions and put it together without having to compress anything or forcing anything. Once i installed it, I put the shield back on and it fit without any effort.So if your looking to buy this to use as a heat sink on an SSD for your ps5, you can be sure if you can follow simple instructions , it will fit without any issues. Do not listen to reviews that claim otherwise.
