Linux users beware, see kernel bug #207557, random freezes/crashes, 5GHz connection won't connect

Do not buy for Linux. Tested on Debian 9,10,11, Ubuntu with varying crash times, from total system freeze (never happened on this particular laptop) and no crash log to just driver crashes, latest firmware according to error 207557 not working. It doesn't seem to crash the system for me, but it still doesn't work properly, 5GHz AP crashes the driver and never worked for me. I can't comment on the Windows experience. This is probably normal, but nobody here uses Windows, so this is not an acceptable solution to the problem. I put the old Wi-Fi card back in and it seems I have no more problems. Except for speed. That was the reason for buying this card. We return to the starting point.
