Sleek in appearance and cosmetically, the MAC

This is by far the best adapter for a MAC or even a regular laptop. Pros: - Compatibility. The Type 3 USB adapter gives you the option to remove it and turns into a regular USB adapter, allowing you to instantly set it up for your MAC or Windows laptop. I used all 3 USB ports and the ethernet port and it gets warm but not as hot as I expected. - Internet speed. I wasn't sure what the internet speed would be because it works with the adapter on a Type-C port, but it increased my internet speed significantly. No difference as if it were directly connected to the computer. Looks. Not too chunky or wide, looks slim and that is very important to me, I know many others don't care. There is no brand name on it. When using an Apple product I didn't want adapters to be flashy or have their logo and something that would take away from the computer. This adapter is in sleek silver with no logos and goes well with my MacBook Pro. Cons: no HDMI port, but that didn't become an obstacle for me.

Pros
  • isn't distracting. USB Network Adapter
Cons
  • Socket required
