Ethernet via USB connector

This did what I needed without spending a lot of money on a docking station. We have internet over power devices so my wife and I can stay online while working from home. It worked great. I got a new laptop from work in December and I didn't realize that this new one didn't have an ethernet port. It was a cheaper solution than buying a docking station for my work laptop. I like that I have other USB ports in addition to an SD card slot.

Economical, but the status light is bloody BRIGHT.

So far so good, this unit works well. The only major annoyance is the blindingly bright status indicator, which I had to tape over because it was so distracting. If there was a way to stop showing this progress bar, that would be very, very good. But because of the price I decided to just stick it on because I'd rather pay less for something that works and maybe in the future they can make a product that doesn't try to blind customers with their status bar lol.

Works perfectly! Excellent purchase.

It works great on my Dell Latitude 5400. It's light and compact. The quality of the materials is also good. At this price I definitely think it's a bargain. In addition, the data transfer rate is high. When playing HD videos works well without lag. I've tried other USB-C hubs before, some of them will have latency issue. Last but not least, it doesn't get very hot when you use it for many hours. I have a hub that gets very hot making me anxious and insecure. I'm glad I found this good…

Ethernet status indicators, Power Boost available, Less risk of overheating than others

We ordered this item because another USB to Ethernet adapter we were using had a tendency to overheat and losing connectivity over time. It also has some better features than the comparable USB-C device we also use on the Surface, preventing its SD and micro SD reader slots from being used at the same time. (Unlike this USB-C adapter, this USB 3.0 lacks an HDMI video output, which our Dell doesn't need as it already has one.) This is the first adapter I've ever used with a full RJ-45 connector…

Yes! Portable Hub with Ethernet Port

While I like the light weight of my new ThinkPad, I missed some features of the older, heavier ThinkPad. I was surprised that I missed the ethernet port, so I looked for a USB to ethernet adapter. I'm glad I paid a little more for this hub instead of just buying a disposable adapter. I now have a USB hub with an SD card reader AND an Ethernet port. Good Quality - USB Power Adapters

I have no idea what "cleanliness" has to do with whether a product is good or not - what about reliability? And the thickness is ok but honestly not the most important factor. Thing is, they're more reliable than the ones we've found at retail, but of course we don't think Apple connectors are very good, and there's not much choice here at other retail stores. Sleek in appearance and cosmetically, the MAC

This is by far the best adapter for a MAC or even a regular laptop. Pros: - Compatibility. The Type 3 USB adapter gives you the option to remove it and turns into a regular USB adapter, allowing you to instantly set it up for your MAC or Windows laptop. I used all 3 USB ports and the ethernet port and it gets warm but not as hot as I expected. - Internet speed.
