***Last Update*** My last purchase was an XL twin after using a full size. Shortly after buying a double XL in June, it seems to have started deflating. I ran a fine-toothed comb over the fine carpet to make sure I didn't make a mistake. Haven't found anything. Contacted service and they sent a replacement. This also began to empty again after a short time. So they demanded that I send it back and sent me a tested one. The test subject held his breath for several months and I thought I was clean. About 4 months after receiving the tested air mattress, it began to deflate overnight. I will NEVER buy this brand again. I have no idea what the problem is, or the problem is ONLY the size of the twins, but this is ridiculous. Now I can't even get through the night without blowing them up. And it actually started within the first month of my FIRST purchase. This bed came highly recommended for back pain but I will start a new search for another brand. As I said, I'm not sure if this is just an issue with the double size or if it's a general branding issue. I don't want to spend any more money to find out. 3 beds in less than 6 months? Not normal. UPDATE *** I've had it for a year now. I have degenerative arthritis in my lower back and a herniated disc. Despite the promises ordinary mattresses make, I never wanted to take any chances. I can adjust the firmness of the air mattress myself. It was a dream to sleep on last year. It holds air well considering I use it every night and a year later is only showing signs of wear in the sense of not staying fully inflated all day. Given that a quality mattress, even double the size, costs over a thousand dollars, I have no problem replacing it every year. The cost is the same and I know I won't buy anything that doesn't work for me and I have to deal with the return shipping and hassle. It's worth spending a hundred dollars every year because I never wake up in pain. I will never buy a regular mattress again. I researched for MONTHS before deciding to buy this. Several educated researchers have ranked it in the top 3 for long-term use. As written under this update it was replaced for free with no issues when it started draining in the first 3 months. It's time to redeem and I know exactly what I'm going to buy. I've had it for 3 months now. Works fantastic. Holds air annoyingly well (I use the term because it was too full and I decided to wait for it to go down on its own. A week later it was still as full as when it was first filled). I rarely need to breathe. I have back arthritis and this has helped the pain 100%. I woke up feeling fine, not tired. I have a mysterious leak and the company sent me a replacement, no questions asked, no survey. Wonderful product, outstanding customer service.
