Comes on a roll that cannot be washed off. If you need to clean quickly, acetone dries quickly. I used it on my old metal roof. If you want to get thinner strips (or want to shave off the part of the side that doesn't peel easily), lay out the length you want and use a razor to quickly trim them off. It's best to make long cuts while the band is cool. There are other uses for this tape. I had nail holes in the metal roof and the pitting broke after years of exposure to the sun. So I covered them with duct tape as well. I used white backed sim tape and after 15 years it ripped but was still sticky so I covered it with this tape. If the coke was applied to uneven surfaces (bumps and screws or the like) I would go back on a warmer day to see if some of the pieces of tape I collected had come undone and discarded it. Or a heat gun at the right distance on a cold day would also work.
