The answer is very simple. I have known Logitech products for a long time and use some of its products myself. The highest quality and deservedly high reputation in the computer equipment market. And most importantly, what influenced it was that I had bonuses in one very greedy store, for which I bought that camera in it, which was the most expensive of all. :) As a result, after a month, I do not regret the purchase at all, because I have already made sure from my own experience, retold in the first paragraph, that "the miser pays twice", and I do more. Now a short digression on the characteristics of my acquisition. Image resolution is very good: HD (1920x1080). This is a lot compared to the previous webcam and many sold today. Almost matches the resolution of my monitor. The maximum frame rate is 30 Hz. Resolution in photos promised 15 megapixels. But I haven't taken a picture yet, so I can't say. Is it just an avatar for Skype, but you can't see the quality there. The lens for the camera is provided by the famous company Carl Zeiss. Here, I hope, comments are superfluous - the quality checked by decades and thousands of buyers. The outer glass of the camera has an anti-reflective coating. The camera is connected to the computer via the usual USB 2.0, but you can also connect it to the 3.0 socket - it will work anyway. There is a great built-in stereo microphone with noise cancellation. I want to praise him separately. As an example from my recent life, I’ll tell you that when we studied a foreign language via Skype last week, and in the next room (hallway) an older relative was talking on a landline phone, the teacher asked us to close the door to our room - she could hear so clearly outside conversation. Conclusion: the camera has an excellent stereo microphone of exceptional sensitivity. Available in the camera and automatic focus on a person, and the function of tracking your face (when you sit in front of Skype). This camera is compatible with all Windows operating systems: XP, Vista, and 7. I have quietly installed and plows on the 10th Windows. The camera is designed to be mounted on top of the monitor. It didn’t work out very well for me, but here the claims are not against me (I tried my best))). And so there is even a tripod mount - how! When the camera is turned on, a pretty blue LED light illuminates on both sides of the lens. The connecting cable is quite long - almost 2 meters. I have a monitor next to the system unit, but it's still nice - you never know if you have to take a picture of something not far from the computer. The software contains a large number of various functions and all sorts of settings. I have not used them yet - there was no need, and by default everything works fine. To date, the webcam has shown itself only from the excellent side. Looks like it's really worth the money. A chic stereo microphone, a wide-angle lens - it turned out just a great thing. And for communication via Skype, it’s better not to find it. In conclusion, I will say that the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 webcam suited me in all respects. I will advise you, my dear readers, to purchase and use it.
