Well finished product (no wood) although the brackets may leave some marks on the wall side of the frame when removed, but that side is not visible. The instructions and velcro are in a small plastic bag and they help explain how to attach the velcro and then apply the paint. We have found that it is best to attach the velcro to the existing velcro on the frame and then place the painting on top. Do not attach the Velcro to the painting as you would a frame, as trying to adjust it may tear the backing of the drawing paper. You need to align the painting with the frame, otherwise it may be a bit uneven on the sides or top to bottom depending on the size of your painting. Try to get it right the first time. The glue is strong enough, so don't press until the painting is properly fixed in the frame. Happy with the purchase.
