I have ProGrade 1700MB/s CF Express B cards that I've tested for accurate performance on other hardware. I have internal NVme drives on my computer. I also have a 10G NIC and a 10G NAS with 12 hard drives. I can reach speeds of up to 1250 MB/s. when writing to NAS and 3500 MB/s when writing to NVme. The USB port that this card is connected to is a super speed port. I have external SSD drives running at 150MB/s through this port. However, when using this USB-C memory card reader, the speed does not exceed 40MB/s. I'm giving it two stars because apart from speed it works properly and seems to be of solid construction. But it's damn slow!
