Works well. BUT it gets very hot; almost too hot to touch when downloading files and just plugging in when a card is in. It speaks heat when plugged in, even if it doesn't contain a card. Therefore, you should always unplug the card reader from your computer when not in use. Otherwise, it's fast and transfers files accurately.

Required to transfer the downloaded update file to a new digital camera. I used it to format a CF Express memory card at a low level and then transferred the file from my Windows 10 laptop to the memory card with no issues. This reader was very disappointed. Extremely slow. I'm having a hard time getting 65-70Mbps when plugged directly into a USB 3.0 port using the original cable. It usually copies 35-45MB, which is below any industry standard. I get more on SD cards and reader on the same port.
