It was quite difficult to set up as the light only connects to 2.4GHz WiFi and our router runs primarily on 5GHz like most modern routers. I didn't realize this when I bought the bulb, but every other option seems to work equally well, so make sure you know how (or even can) switch frequencies on your router before attempting it set up. Once I figured out how to manipulate my router settings, plugging in a lightbulb was pretty easy, and the app was even easier to use. It's bright enough to easily illuminate our bedroom and all the colors are rich. In general I am satisfied.
