Review on Comfy and Stylish Sockwell Women's The Raj Graduated Compression Sock by Juan Axum

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cute and medicinally useful.

I have moderate POTS, so on a normal day I have to bend over or sit up heavily due to dizziness. Not to mention that most of the time I can't stand long enough to put away my laundry or wait in line anywhere. Some people say you need waist-high compression stockings to help POTS, but I actually felt great relief with these knee-length socks. They hold compression very well - I've machine washed them at least a dozen times and they're still just as snug. The only downside is that they can get hot in the summer and overheating usually makes my symptoms worse. It's a compromise that I don't yet know how to deal with. These socks are also very cute. When someone catches a glimpse of them, I usually get a comment about how fun my socks are. I usually tell people they're for my circuit, but they don't look medical and I doubt anyone will know unless you tell them. Note: Sockwell makes socks in different levels of compression. Check their website to make sure you're getting the compression ratio you want. That's 20-30 mmHg. Art., but most of their socks have a pressure of 15-20 mm Hg. Art. and don't have as much compression effect if you need them for medical purposes.
