In short, the product is good. However, it is only good after making a one-piece mounting extension 15-20 inches in length. The short mounting extension serves no purpose other than to offer hope, but still tip more from the treetop. Velcro was a great idea, but they are too thick, about 1 inch, to wrap around a tree without pulling small branches while wrapping. I took 3.20 inch wooden kebab sticks and used hot glue to glue them together, resulting in a larger diameter stick. I then colored them with flat black paint. Once the paint was dry, the new trunk extender gave me some much-needed extra length to properly attach the stronger portion of the trunk to the tree. I actually used zip ties to secure the entire device; it just worked a lot better. Mr. Christmas, please change the mounting extension of the product to at least 20 inches. This ensures a secure fit and prevents the top heavy object from swinging while rotating.
