Sale Clarence for Parts & Components

Bought for my mountain bike. But somehow they ended up in my Hybrid Trek project. The initial layout of my Trek 7500FX left a lot to be desired in terms of a comfortable palm rest (see choices). And left me in pain after a few minutes of driving. So I decided to try them out on Trek. The installation was a bit painful for me. Everything has to be positioned correctly. This allows the expansive Deore brakes and front derailleur to work together perfectly (see image). The brake lever let me install them hanging about half an inch (pictured). I also had to factor in the space for the Sram bar tape which I also added. Create a gap between the tip of the brake lever and the Drop8 handlebar within 1/8 inch (see image). I ended up recording them with Sram. After watching some VERY informative videos from one company, we call it "Ark Tool". Now I knew that the direction of the tape was VERY important. The way we naturally hold the steering wheel requires the wrap to be directional. For drops, the bandage should be clockwise on the right side and counterclockwise on the straight bar as you go up. The left side will be the opposite of that. Not realizing masking bits were included with the tape, I left the corners open. What now, I think I'll leave it. So if it's necessary I can make small adjustments to the bars, I can do that. My working time lasted a little less than an hour. It was my first job with a radio. But I am a competent bicycle mechanic. My advice: do a little video research and give yourself plenty of time to make mistakes. As I earn miles with this setting, I will update it as needed. If you've read this far "Thanks for reading!". I was not paid in any form or form for this review.
