Cheap way to convert into a road bike

I love these drop tips! I recently bought a new hybrid bike and regretted it because I love the folding handle position when riding. Then I came across these rod ends and am completely satisfied! They are very strong and stay in place so don't worry about them shifting on you. This gives you a variety of driving positions. I modified the brakes a bit and moved the front brake lever to the end of the handlebars. That way I could have stopping power in the drop bar position. Check out my photos…

Okay - depends on what you are looking for.

They do exactly what they were designed to do, but if you're looking for the same experience as Full Drop Bars, this product isn't for you. I attached them to the ends of my commuter bike's flat handlebars and added foam tape. They were easy to put on and felt comfortable in the hand. But when you put them on flat grips they tend to be too stretchy and I felt like I was increasing my resistance by putting my hands on them. I personally didn't like the look either. If your main concern is…

The best bar ends!

Very nice. I've used the more common handlebar tips but they always hurt my hands. It's not like this. I use them over the bars, but they work just as well for those who want the ends under the bars, such as B. with a ram / touring handlebar. They are very light and for most this will be a plus. I think I'll fill mine with sand or weights to add some weight to the handlebars so I can ride hands-free with my existing mountain bike handlebars. I have some for my wife and she loves them too. Not big enough for bar end shifters

I bought these to use with the Microshift bar end shifter. I have verified that this derailleur will work with a different set of handlebars, but these flip ends did not have a hole in the end large enough for the main disc to fit through. Really disappointed, at this point I just wish I had my money back to be honest and I wish the Venzos were in stock when I ordered them. most handlebars today. Even "flat" bars aren't quite straight these days. At the end, they return a little to the rider…

Cheapest way to turn it into drop bars

At the suggestion of another reviewer, I combined these with TEKTRO RL520 hood/arms and new cables to turn my hybrid into a pseudo gravel bike. I also had to buy new switches as there were flat levers built into the stock, but everything I needed was about $100. In any case, they are very easy to install and did their job perfectly. While I've never ridden an actual dropbar, they seem to be as ergonomic as I could have hoped. I've considered cutting off the excess bar ends on my flat bars, but…

Great product - helps with numbness in hands

Bought these for my hard mountain bike that I use for long distance rides. Just having barbells and extension bars made my arms go numb too quickly. While not perfect, they helped a lot with numb hands. You need to practice with them so you can get on the brakes quickly. Pros: Well made Holds in place Can be used with or without bar tape, but the tape softens the handlebars. Has different hand positions to reduce numbness. Make your own configuration - see photos submitted by other reviewers…

All advantages; None of the flaws

Last season I converted my downhill ride (useless in the flat Midwest) to a trail/city bike and regularly ride it 40+ miles a day. Unfortunately, I have some issues with my arms and back, so despite a good fit, I often have problems with numbness and back pain if I stay in one position for too long. I've experimented with many crazy bars, aero bars, and other ergonomic hacks, but I've missed every single one of them. In the end I gave up expensive and ineffective solutions and went for a few…

Sale Clarence for Parts & Components

Bought for my mountain bike. But somehow they ended up in my Hybrid Trek project. The initial layout of my Trek 7500FX left a lot to be desired in terms of a comfortable palm rest (see choices). And left me in pain after a few minutes of driving. So I decided to try them out on Trek. The installation was a bit painful for me. Everything has to be positioned correctly. This allows the expansive Deore brakes and front derailleur to work together perfectly (see image). The brake lever let me…
