I replaced the smaller bungee cord cord with this one and am so glad I did. This is an amazing little vacuum cleaner. My problem used to be mostly cat hair on a dark brown sofa. But then we got a rescue pup who sheds a lot and can't stay on the couch. The smaller vacuum just didn't fit, but this one was a real find. I see other reviews complaining about the battery life. This morning I vacuumed our sofa (full size sofa), two armchairs and six dining chairs and the first four carpeted flights of stairs and the battery lasted. I quit because I ran out of time, not battery. I also leave it plugged in and kept on the bench because I take it at least twice a day to keep up with the couch hair. And I love that there is no cable!
