The ratchet lever gets stuck in the open position almost every time you activate it. The design attracts a lot less positivity than the others I have. You have to be overly careful and check the mechanism very carefully every time you use it to ensure a secure fit. There is very little tactile or audible feedback, so the only way to tell if the internal lever is engaged is by very close visual inspection. Yes, you need to visually inspect the INTERNAL mechanism, which is neither convenient nor easy. I was hoping it would be a premium product but it seems like the same cheap stuff with minimal features and security. Very disappointed with this product.
