Water check for pond aeration system….Works!
I used this spliced in just before my 8” diffuser stone that’s supplied by a 3/8” air line 125’ long and sitting in 13’ of water.I noticed the air pump was straining to push all the water out of the line when the air pump came on and the pressure of that water being pushed through a diffuser cracked the side of it.Installing this valve solved it instantly, when the air cuts off the pond water is locked out by the valve.
- Worked as intended for.
- The valve may become clogged with debris, leading to reduced fuel efficiency or engine damage
