It's tiring. Not impossible, but no fun. Each key requires a strong but steady hit on the key so some letters don't look heavy and others look faded. Forget typing with even the smallest nails. Mistakes are almost fatal to the bottom line, and you can't type at night. In short, nostalgia quickly gave way to a reminder of why "electronic" typewriters were such a hit.
