I was torn between buying this noise machine and another one labeled 'High Fidelity' that cost a lot more money. I chose this one as the price was very good and the reviews were the same. I just tested this thing and I'm incredibly impressed! It's getting SO LOUD. Louder than I'll ever need, but it's good to know that this sound machine will drown out even the loudest sounds when you need it. There are so many sounds to choose from. I find them all soothing, except for the melodies which, for personal reasons, I just don't like to listen to while falling asleep. My daughter, on the other hand, would be happy about the melodies. I love that you can choose from many different color options and even adjust the brightness! I really can't believe it was only $9. I'm so glad I didn't go for the more expensive one. Buy it!
