Review on Inkbird Automatic Preservation Stainless Indicator by Donna Lawson

For the sous vide user bent over to the vacuum sealer.

Yes, you can use sous vide without a vacuum sealer. I've done this and it works fine. But what a joy to have this compact and extremely easy to use tool! There's a reason I still haven't bought a vacuum sealer. Space Who has more space for a kitchen appliance? Not me. But this device is very compact and, as you can see from the photo, it is of a similar size to a real Sous Vide Inkbird cooker. I keep them together - in the corner of the closet - so they don't really take up much space. It's a lightweight and compact tool, ideal for occasional use. It has no frills. For my use - I don't need the bells and whistles. Although it has a nozzle for glasses which is nice. (You need to buy a special glass lid for this.) If you're like me, you don't need to read instructions to use a simple device. And really, all you need to know is that you insert the open end of the bag into a channel in the device and tell it to do its thing, be it a simple seal or a vacuum seal, both dry and dry for wet items. and he does what he has to do - very simple. For me, the hardest part of sous vide cooking was getting the air out of the right-sized bag. It's not impossible, but it was my biggest problem - and it literally kept me up at night (to check the freezer zip). Check out the user who was undecided when buying a vacuum sealer. And the other benefits/uses of a vacuum sealer are, well, just gravy.
