my old (very old) rip thermal shirts ended up being beyond repair, couldn't find anything decent in all cotton thermal underwear at a reasonable price, tried it they were originally from walmart, despite mixed reviews on amazon. i think the first few i got were older products which means they are good quality. i washed them twice and checked them carefully, not as heavy as thermal but well done, then i got a few more from walmart and they were the poorer ones i've read about, hard scratchy stuff. I'm returning them to Walmart. Got this twin pack from Amazon and straight out of the plastic bags the shirts are very soft, look and feel of very good quality construction, they are navy blue like heavy jersey. I vouch for the navy double pack. I think like everything else, the new versions are not as good as the old ones. I put them under fleece sweatshirts if you're lucky enough to snag old stock that you might like if you have any left over. I'm a 5'6, 135 female, I sleep in it, men are tall, loose but not sloppy tall after washing and drying.
