The zippers are color matched
This is one of the few hidden hair ties where the zipper and slider actually match the fabric. (Most of the others were white regardless of the color of the fabric - very noticeable.) I cut off a star because the ribbing is 1/4 inch wide ribbing (available at any craft store), knotted, not sewn, and I sew it not on. Expect a long service life, since the elastic is not sewn into the fabric, you can easily replace it yourself if necessary.
