In a previous home we had 4 expensive rock speakers plugged directly into the amplifier. Moved to a new house and bought these 2 speakers, simply paired and instantly connected to an iPhone 12. They have more than enough volume for our pool. At maximum volume they distort a bit, but I will never use such volume as it would disturb the neighbors. Compared to my previous 4-wire speakers, they're not as loud (but surprisingly powerful for their size) and have a slightly lower sound quality that's noticeable at high volumes. But for the price and ease of setup, I'd recommend it.
