The rubber part is very nice and translucent but the bolt is basically a regular bolt that has been rubber dipped several times. If you are buying these if you are installing them on your Jeep, if you plan to tighten an underhood nut, DO NOT do so. Only a thin layer of rubber holds the screw in the bumper, and if you try to tighten it you pull the screw out, rendering everything useless. A large washer had to be placed on the head of the bolt before applying rubber or anything. but the screw doesn't hold that well. And no, I wasn't trying to give them 130 ftlbs of torque, I was just trying to get them where the nut was stuck, but they don't have that.
