This rug is BEAUTIFUL! I've been looking for the perfect living room rug for months as I want it to last. The last thing we had was wool, and never again! I hated him and he never stopped shedding. I'm glad I took a chance as there weren't any reviews with pictures. I took off one star because the size is a little smaller than stated. But I was expecting this based on other people's reviews of Safavieh rugs. I needed a rug no smaller than an 8x10 and I knew it would be smaller if I ordered that size, so I ended up with a 9x12 cream/ivory. Actual size is 8 1/2' x 12', not 9x12. On my computer screen, the advertised image looks whiter and more like a light cream carpet. In fact, however, it is a light gray with an ivory tint. It is very beautiful, soft and luxurious. Not the thickest, but still very soft underfoot. Another reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there were threads sticking out on one corner of the rug so I was a bit concerned that it was a brand new rug. Hope it doesn't get worse over time. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I paid close to $400 with taxes, which I think is a fair price for the size and appearance of this rug.
