Like many others here we have an older cat and are looking for food that is easier for him to eat. These broths have attractive packaging, extremely appetizing appearance and fresh smell. Our old man loves broth, but we break up chunks of fish or chicken to make it easier for him to eat. Our young cats have no problems. The only thing I would like to mention is that in my opinion they are extremely expensive for the amount of product. In fact, it's a few tablespoons at most. To be fair, Purina describes them as a "treat," but remember that you can use multiple poultices a day if you depend on them for sustenance. We're still looking for a smarter and more economical alternative, but at the same time he loves it. feeds him by hand. I'm so glad we did, but it's a shame we didn't start sooner. I had some concerns that if we started hand feeding he would stop eating and drinking on his own but that is not the case. In any case, hand-feeding increased his autonomy in eating and his weight returned to its previous level.
