I've been waiting for this thing to go on sale. It did what it needed to do, but it's not the handiest tool in the kitchen. I often go for the standard Vitamix container mash. And this container is not synchronized with the motor to use different pre-programmed cycles. Overall, I'm glad I spent what I spent on it, but Elton Brown's admonition about single-purpose tools in the kitchen comes to mind all the time. Luckily I have a very large kitchen with lots of cabinets so this rarely used tool has a hiding place.
