Description of 🥤 Vitamix 48 oz. Aer Disc Container

Master culinary techniques like whipping, muddling, foaming, and emulsifying. Effortless craft cocktails: make batches of handcrafted-quality cocktails in a fraction of the time. Unlike a typical blending container, The Aer disc container acts like both a muddler and a Cocktail Shaker, extracting essential oils and juice, while at the same time chilling drinks without crushing the ice. Perfectly precise textures: The Aer disc container excels at producing consistently creamy emulsions, light culinary foams, and stiff whipped creams. Add fresh fruit, veggies, or herbs to the mixture, and the Aer disc will partially crush the ingredients, adding additional texture And Bursts of flavor. The container and lid are dishwasher-safe and made of BPA-free Eastman Tritan. Compatible with all full-size (Classic and Smart System) Vitamix blenders. What comes in the box: Aer disc container, Low-Profile tamper and Aer disc container recipe booklet. US only container.

Great hot chocolate

The Are Disk container works great and the hot chocolate is hot and delicious. The only problem - and this is the problem - is that 6 minutes of loud rumbling to make hot chocolate is a bit harsh and quite hard on the ears and nerves! I think you can't have everything.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not sure

Too little or too much ventilation

I loved it because it promises to whip and emulsify better than a blender bowl and the ability to blend seemed cool. What a disappointment! Whipping wasn't a noticeable improvement over a regular can to justify the cost and storage space of another can, and the confusion added too much air to the drink so I ended up with a frothy lemonade. I returned it.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Something Useful - Small Appliance Parts & Accessories

I've been waiting for this thing to go on sale. It did what it needed to do, but it's not the handiest tool in the kitchen. I often go for the standard Vitamix container mash. And this container is not synchronized with the motor to use different pre-programmed cycles. Overall, I'm glad I spent what I spent on it, but Elton Brown's admonition about single-purpose tools in the kitchen comes to mind all the time. Luckily I have a very large kitchen with lots of cabinets so this rarely used tool…

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Almost OK

The only way to make memory foam like Starbucks

I'm in love. While it's a bit of a hassle and outrageously expensive to buy a completely different case instead of just buying a new blade, this case is EVERYTHING! I really like Starbucks cold foam and therefore spend too much money on their expensive coffee. This product produced the densest, silkiest lather. It absolutely cannot be beat and I don't know of any other way to achieve such perfection. Absolutely recommendable if you are a cold foam fan like me.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Cloud Foam for small appliance parts and accessories

I bought this to be able to make my own Cloud Foam mixes like Starbucks drinks. You need a thickener like egg white to make it so fluffy. I also use powdered milk for a creamy effect. It is great! I'm also experimenting with emulsifying ingredients for dressings. The ratio to make the cloud foam very thick and creamy is usually about 1/5 of the container to 1/3 and a tablespoon of egg white and powdered milk. Revain saved me about $50 off the regular price. I used it almost every day. So far…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No instructions

Decent container, terrible user interface and multiple recipes

I've used this container a few times and here's what I'm thinking: Turn the mixer on to the 5-6 setting or about 2 cups of heavy cream . Dutch is very easy and works quite well. And if you like a ton of fruit chunks/pulp in your lemonade, it's great for that (conversely, if you don't like it, you'll want to use a different method). Will try to update this after trying the mayonnaise and meringue. I remain optimistic about both of these possibilities. Bad: 1. The self-cleaning program on Ascent…
