Review on 🥤 Vitamix 48 oz. Aer Disc Container by Matt Wigfall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Decent container, terrible user interface and multiple recipes

I've used this container a few times and here's what I'm thinking: Turn the mixer on to the 5-6 setting or about 2 cups of heavy cream . Dutch is very easy and works quite well. And if you like a ton of fruit chunks/pulp in your lemonade, it's great for that (conversely, if you don't like it, you'll want to use a different method). Will try to update this after trying the mayonnaise and meringue. I remain optimistic about both of these possibilities. Bad: 1. The self-cleaning program on Ascent blenders will not work with this container. Writes that it is impossible with this container. In fact, none of the programs on the A3500 work with this container, although the only other reasonable program that might work besides self-cleaning might be the soup program.2. Also, there are absolutely no recipes in the application for that container or any interface between the application and the blender when that container is connected to the blender. In fact, the app thinks it's 48 ounces. dry container and do not send prescriptions in it. Also, there are very few recipes (10 or 11 if I'm not mistaken) that come with this container. Vitamix will tell you that you want them to develop your own recipes, which is ridiculous considering it doesn't work like a regular blender and would require quite a bit of experimentation/wasted ingredients. A good example of this is that it took many failed attempts at whipping cream before I realized I just had to increase the speed to 5. I needed a recipe to get rid of the guesswork (which I luckily found in the QVC demo). . Gradually turning the mixer up to 10 can work with fruit tossed in whipped cream, but with cream alone it splatters all over the place and the top stays unwhipped and the bottom starts turning to butter. A: Given what's available with Ascent now, including the app interface, missing recipes, and useless programs, I would never buy this again if I had to do it again. I'm pretty sure I can make whipped cream, mayonnaise and hollandaise with a standard blender jar.
