Holes let nut meat through the first time you use it

First of all: stop it. This review includes terms like nut milk, nut meat, and nut milk bag. Nuts, nuts, all nuts, ha ha, jolly blah blah. Okay, now that this is out of our system, read on for one woman's take on the benefits of this nut milk pouch. On my first batch of nut milk, some of the nut pulp leaked through a tiny hole in the seam, so I repositioned myself. the position of the curve I had and that fixed the problem. I was able to get some really silky cashew milk out of one batch. After a few batches, not only did the hole in the seam get larger, causing the nutmeat to shoot through my kitchen and splatter my fridge and other appliances, but a small hole also formed. appeared in the tissue itself, allowing more of the substance to seep into my nut milk. I have already prepared five batches of milk with this pack. To clean, I simply rinsed it well, wrung it out and let it dry. I've never brushed it or stored it anywhere other than on a big hook on the kitchen wall, so I know I didn't create a hole. I'm afraid to use it now because I don't want to clean up another nutmeat mess. This added $2 to the cost of each 1-2 cup batch of milk. I made smooth milk while it lasted and it was way better than the nylon bag I used before, but I was hoping it would last at least a month or two before it gave me such trouble!
