The best leather cleaners and conditioners

We like to buy leather shoes. They cost more, but they can always be repaired, and once the plastic is gone, it's gone. That's why we like to invest in skin care products like 3 Andrews - Boot Wax. The wax comes in a nice jar that's easy to open, not as small as a jar of mink oil or polish which is nice. It's easy to type with one hand and apply with the other. The wax glides on gently with a cloth and leaves a slight sheen when buffed with a brush. It contains no dyes, so it does not change the color of the tan, except to darken it a little. He has used it on all the leather boots and boots he has and is very happy with it. Here in the North West there is a lot of rain and snow during the winter months so the water repellency of this wax is very important. I'm used to using Johnson's beeswax on our furniture and I'm sure it will have the same effect. When used on furniture, it's the buffing that gives the shine (we learned that in military courses many years ago). Great product, made in the USA, the best part!
