Note: When I bought this it only came with the wire, not the full kit I see listed now. Anyway, we installed our invisible dog fence for the first time. with a thin wire that came with the system. It was fine for a year and then we continued to have problems. Every few months I would hear it squeaking from the basement, indicating there was a broken wire somewhere. It got old and confusing because nothing was happening in the yard to break the wire. I was about to buy a brand new system until I started browsing Revain and came across this product. A lot of reviewers had similar issues, so even though it was quite pricey, I jumped at the big wire. Had to dig out the old wire and replace it with this one which was painful but I haven't had any problems since!
