Let's start with the positive. I was looking for a waterproof bag for paddle boards. All I needed was a place for my phone, my keys, a water bottle and a small towel. A 10 liter earth bag is great for this. Things I like: - Durable material - Simple design - Comfortable shoulder strap I'm a little skeptical about the phone case that comes with it. The plastic doesn't feel that strong, the locking mechanism looks a bit suspicious. I'm surprised at how it's laid out compared to the main pocket, but I'll reserve judgment until I've used it. What I don't like: A company called Earth Pak puts the bag in a plastic bag. - If the earthen bag is so strong (and it is), why wrap it in cheap plastic? - I know plastic packaging is recyclable, but research has shown that most plastics are NOT recyclable - if you buy a ground bag you get a great waterproof dry bag, but unfortunately the ground also gets a plastic bag. One that will last for thousands of years. I hope someone on the ground will see this and make a change. With such wasteful and useless packaging, you shouldn't have "Earth" in your company name.
