I originally ordered this in a size Small, but that was too big so I exchanged for an X-Small. I have very small hand and have had better fitting gloves, but these will do. You lose dexterity in your hands, of course, because of how thick it is. Definitely not waterproof or water tight, but it keeps my hands warm enough for 40 degree water. They are easy to don on and off and don't stand out in appearance. They do provide the skin some protection from the elements/objects you encounter in the winter.
