Review on Purism Style Porcelain Kerosene Lantern by Bob Larson

My husband ordered these last year to have on hand in the event of a power outage. We were recently part of a major power outage in Oregon and were grateful they were available. Although we have a generator, there are no lights on in our house (yet). They give off a lot of light for such a bulb, and there is quite enough oil for such a bulb (maybe 3/16 cup) for quite a long time. They don't last as long as advertised, but they easily last 16 hours. Some broke (the wick) more easily than others. Don't buy it with the intention of reading it for very long - get a real oil lamp for that. But they are very suitable for setting points of light or just for decoration!
