Setup was pretty easy; Some small burrs in some of the screw holes but once tightened everything was pretty tight. The only "complaint" is that it's a bit bulky and can get in the way if you're in tight spaces; I think it's a compromise for something that can slip close when you're working on a couch or bed. Its durability is great when you're using it, but be aware that this makes it heavy and potentially in the way if you don't have somewhere to put it when not in use. Raising and lowering the tray can also be difficult; It's not difficult, but it's well designed not to accidentally move, so it just means it takes a little patience if adjustment is needed. The company is amazing; One came with some damaged parts and they were quickly replaced by the company. They are so good that I now have four of them at home for different purposes.
