This is a great replacement Bath Spout. It has a beautiful chrome finish and is made entirely of metal. Okay, there is a "universal" plastic tube insert that I would never use. I use a copper tubing extension to the real metal threads on this deflector nose. If necessary, it is best to buy a (copper) pipe extension of the required length, depending on the depth of the installation / wall. For slip fit tube connections, this spout can be a little tricky for the average user. In that case, I would still recommend buying a copper fitting that extends to the metal threads of that diverter spout. Also, I got mine (like new; really new) from Revain Warehouse Deals. It saved me a few bucks and it's like new now. I have found many good stock offers that may be new open stocks. This is especially true for plumbing and other household items where people have ordered the wrong item and sent it back.
