I have another bailout radio before a much larger retail model and I've probably given it the lowest rating I've ever written as I usually write positive reviews. Complain about the very poor processing quality of the handle. For me, the most important thing in an emergency radio is reliability, especially the handle. You never know what might happen when you need an emergency radio and always remember that the little solar panel on such radios is only there to maintain a minimal charge for minimal function even in bright sunshine, not to charge anything. Therefore, the quality of the handle is crucial for an emergency radio. Picked this one mainly for the look and function of the BT speaker. It turns out that the build quality is much better than the previous one. The BT speaker sounds normal to me. Note that this one is also bulkier and heavier than the previous one, so not something you'll want to take for pack trips, but definitely something useful for car camping and emergencies.
