I put it on the Christmas tree last night. I noticed that when threading the lamps, even the first strand, they felt much warmer on my hands than any other lamp I had used before. I tested them after they were all lit for about 30 minutes - very warm but your house won't burn. It was getting late so the lights were only on for about 1 hour last night. In the 90 minutes they ran today, 2 fuses blew. Fortunately, every thread has a spare. I'm assuming it's included because you'll need it. At the moment I am thinking about decorating my Christmas tree and sending it back. I really, really don't want this, but if I burn out again, it's over. Also, they don't come assembled, which struck me as odd. You will receive a box with lighting (without spare parts) and a separate "free" cable, without packaging. Strange. The assembly was not difficult, but in connection with blown fuses I do NOT recommend it.
