Review on Versatile Yellow Beeswax: Perfect for Candle Making and Cosmetic Crafting by Kim Sanchez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

NOT REAL WAX.

This is by no means real beeswax. Real wax, even mixed with soy or paraffin, becomes clear at 200 degrees. It contains some sort of additive that makes it cloudy when melted and cracks like plastic when it hardens into a bar shape. Which neither can beeswax. I'm hesitant to let this burn in my house because I don't know what these mysterious additives are. The odor smells of oil and slightly melted plastic. I think it's also colored because real beeswax is darker and has an opaque yellow tint which is a light color. Very unlucky and can't go back because I've already melted both boxes.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Damaged

These are not real beeswax - smells like crayons. Will be returning.
