I've been using the same ping blade my dad bought me since the mid 90's. I know this blade is a good stick but for some reason I haven't been able to improve it much in the last 10-15 years. I always felt I would get more value out of a mallet club, but I didn't want to invest that much money in a good rate club. Testing in stores gave me hope, but flat carpets never transfer to real surfaces. Finally having more time and money to play with again, I figured now would be the perfect time to upgrade my 20 year old hardware. I started with a new driver and then looked at the clubs again. They were even more expensive than the last time I checked so I was a bit discouraged until I found this one used (like new) and it was over $100 cheaper than new (?!?!). Being left-handed is always difficult with a used stick, so I took a chance and did it before it went away. Straight out of the (well-packaged) box, I took 8 out of 9 10-foot hits from the triple traces I drew on my Srixon balls, while scoring about 5 out of 9 with ping. Of course it was on the carpet in my office with the Solo Cup hole but the conditions were the same and I think it will translate well to the course. Knowing what I know now, I'd probably pay full price for a new one, but I'm glad I found it here used for a lot less.
