I'm brand new to juggling. I started with the tennis balls that were scattered around the house and wanted to get something to juggle. These balls are only slightly larger and heavier than tennis balls. It annoyed me at first, but once I get used to the balls, they are quite comfortable to juggle. They bounce and roll a bit when dropped, but not as much as tennis balls. These are the only juggling balls I have; I don't have a single beanbag ball. I think they might be easier for beginners because they don't really roll, but I didn't find a big problem. They smell a bit like rubber. My nose is quite sensitive but I don't find it a problem. At first the smell was stronger and after juggling I washed my hands. After using them for a month, I no longer feel the need to wash my hands after use. I am buying a second set as I am going to try four ball juggling.
