Okay, I have my own independent BMW workshop and most BMW automatic transmissions since 1992 have required fueling under the car and this requires a method of forcing fluid into the filler hole on the side of the transmission. I bought this tool to replace my old worn out hand pump hoping it would work well based on the reviews here but either I got a faulty one or nobody used it upside down to pump up liquid. On the first use it worked fine, pushing liquid up and down like it should, but on the 3rd pump it ended up leaking through the rear seal, so liquid shot every time I pulled on the stem. Me and gender, so not good. The end shell is bolted on so tightly that I couldn't take it apart to check what failed. So maybe I got a bad one, or maybe it's only good for horizontal liquid transfer, I don't know but thought someone else would consider buying it for the same purpose to really consider another brand pull. I don't currently have a good refill method without a lot of mess, and I'll probably put together a sealed can from a bug sprayer. Thanks
