Review on 💡 ZEEFO Dimmable Lighting with Halogen Equivalent by James Lesley

I used them to replace 10 xenon G8 bulbs in kitchen under cabinet lights. The light quality is warm white, similar to xenon. I found two issues with the new bulbs that explain my 4 star rating (rather than 5): First, the bulbs are slightly larger than the xenon bulbs they replace and are cylindrical rather than flat. This means that the shades fit very snugly against the new bulbs and the glass touches the bulbs themselves. This isn't a serious problem as lightbulbs get hot but not hot and glass is designed to withstand very high temperatures anyway. Another problem I have is how the bulbs work with my dimmer. It turns out that even with the minimum dimming setting, the LED lamps continue to burn, albeit weakly. So I can't turn them off completely! I need to order a non-dimmable switch to replace my current one so that when in the 'off' position there is no current going to the new bulbs - they are just either fully off or fully on. . As I bought these bulbs for their dimmability this is not ideal but the light looks very nice on the highest setting - warm glow without being overpowering - so no dimmer wouldn't be a big deal for me.
