I bought my first Tomtep M2000 (pictured right) and after realizing that the HCHO value would never change from 0.000 I contacted Revain for a refund. When the replacement arrived (pictured left) the HCHO was working, but there were clearly major differences between the two gauges. No matter how many times I tried to recalibrate them, each of them showed completely different readings? which one do you trust Are any of them really accurate? Obviously the CO2 levels were a bit of a concern, so I asked my friend with a plumber's license if he could do a CO2 test at the same location. He walked in using his own certified equipment and the results were 480ppm for CO2! There are no close two values provided by Tomtep units. I don't know if I have two faulty devices or what's wrong, but as it stands these two devices aren't accurate, let alone the one that doesn't measure HCHO is clearly defective. Oh, and for those wondering, the time/date difference was due to me setting one and not the other. Take readings from these devices with caution.
