Review on πŸ’‘ Eaton Corporation BQ230230 Circuit Breaker - Enhanced for SEO by Michael Vargas

Works well with one or two terminals

This is a good circuit breaker and it did what I needed, but fitting it into my panel required a bit of adjustment. First, I have a solid blade (no notches), and there are also two metal tabs that the manufacturer inserts that allow no docking between the switch and the mounting plate's solid blade. So I had to snap the two metal tabs on the connector of this breaker using needle nose pliers and thin wire cutters. I chewed something on the plastic case and you can break the plastic if you're not careful. However, it works. Also, the main alignment tabs connecting the two outer switches are a bit large and I couldn't fit them into the bezel's cutouts, so keep that in mind. They are only at the edges. So if you have gaps at the cutouts you should be fine. I didn't have that kind of clearance so I just removed the outside tab. I didn't need both outer switches to work at the same time, only the inner two, so I was fine.

Pros
  • Circuit breaker
Cons
  • Minor things
