standard size jarkeys that I have had in a long time and I really like it. On the vast majority of cans, it worked like magic every time, releasing a vacuum that made it almost impossible to unscrew the lid from the can. Instant application, one click and unscrewing the cap is incredibly easy. The only problem was that when I brought home pasta sauce in a jar or rather large jars with fruit in them (a pack of 3 from one of those warehouses), the mason jar lids were too big for the standard size. jackie Finally the Maxi Jarkey is available and it works great on tall lids. There is a chain of specialty grocery stores with a variety of 'organic' high-top jams. Having this jharki in maxi size is a great thing in my opinion. Now I can open any twist-off jar in the blink of an eye, with no effort. What I noticed is that Jarki releases the vacuum without deforming or damaging the lid. After using the jarkey, the lid is in perfect shape to reseal the jar. I think the Original Jarkey and this new Maxi Jarkey should not be missing in any kitchen.
