These are my absolute favorite spill-proof cups! They rarely lick. In fact, the only leaks occur when 1) my kids smack them hard on the surface (a few drops fly out) or 2) when the valves are worn out and need replacing, but it's easy/cheap to do (valves can either purchased from Revain's website or Nalgene's website). We have been using this type of leak proof mug for 5 years now and now it is all we have ever used! I recommend to all my friends who have children. My 1 year old can use it with no problem and my 5 year old still uses this style especially for the sip he takes to bed. I know I don't have to worry about it leaking and water all over his bed. In addition, they are very durable and the company has excellent customer service. I only had one tear and the company responded to my email very quickly and honored their warranty.
