The connector installs easily and gets the job done without even looking at the phone! I use it on a 2020 Diesel F350 and in support mode it's like night and day. I don't think it's bad for gas mileage per se, but since it's so much fun to drive, you end up on the accelerator all the time. In city mode +2 to his wife just right.
